Systems Support
I troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, workstation, and user issues that impact daily operations and service continuity.
I am Nick Canizalez, a Systems Analyst with hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, scripting, automation, and developer-focused projects. I work with real users, real systems, and practical code that makes work cleaner and faster.
My background combines IT support, systems troubleshooting, automation, and development. I currently support county users and systems while continuing to grow as a developer through C#, Python, PowerShell, Unity, and GitHub-based projects. I like building tools that make daily work faster, cleaner, and easier to maintain.
I troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, workstation, and user issues that impact daily operations and service continuity.
I build scripts that reduce repetitive tasks, support data input workflows, and help standardize internal procedures across managed devices.
I am actively building software development experience through Unity gameplay systems, Python automation, PowerShell administration, and version-controlled projects.
A practical mix of development, scripting, system support, diagnostics, and platform administration skills.
Projects that show my technical direction, problem-solving style, and ability to build practical tools beyond daily support work.
3D Unity survival game
Developing a 3D game in Unity using C# with combat systems, enemy behavior, player progression, UI systems, and gameplay mechanics. This is the main project showing my developer growth beyond IT support.
Media server and automation
Built a home lab environment using static IPs, bridge networking, and remote access tools. Used Python scripts with Home Assistant to automate device tasks, schedule power cycles, and support remote system control.
Internal process automation
Developed automation scripts for internal procedures, including TV tracking and data input using MAC-based network identification. The goal was to reduce repetitive work and make tracking workflows more consistent.
ServiceNow ticket helper
A local helper concept for inspecting ServiceNow tickets, identifying request details, and preparing suggested notes or customer replies for review. Designed around safe operator approval instead of automatic submission.
A technical path built around support, troubleshooting, automation, and hands-on development.
Support county users and systems by resolving hardware, software, and workstation issues across daily operations.
Diagnosed and repaired customer technology issues across computers, phones, peripherals, software, and operating systems.
Education and certifications that support my systems, repair, cloud, and technical support background.
